A Violent World

Ever since the beginning of time, wars, battles, and fighting have occured. War has always been this idea where people want to banish it throughout the world, but if you think about it, will war ever go away? Maybe there is too much violence today that we could never diminish wars.

I believe that there is honestly way too much violence in this world. I do not understand why people must kill each other for power, for we are all humans. I understand that everyone has different beliefs. I understand that everyone wants their country ruled a different way. I understand that no one will ever be 100% happy with how their life is, but is killing other people for one's own benefit worth it? Some groups that us Americans call terroists kill others due to their religion. Okay, I get how they want to rule their own country according to their scriptures, but killing is defined as a sin. There are so many solutions to a problem. In addition, these terroists make the other people that follow a religion like Islam look bad and violent even though most of the Musslims out there are innocent.

I think photography plays into violence in a better way than movies. Movies that have a lot of action in it make the viewers think how cool war is. Not that any of these movies are bad because some are funny, but movies make war seem less severe than it actually is. Some movies that are based around war do a fantastic job witht the whole war scenes and such. For example, movies like Forest Gump, Unbroken, and American Sniper have amazing graphics to show others how being in action is dangerous.

I feel like photographers who capture riots show the world what violence can come to more than movies because these riots are in action unlike movies where they have actors and actresses to perform for something. Riots like the ones in Ferguson and Baltimore have pictures. The ones that I have seen so far are unbelievable. To think that people from the United States are killing others that guess what?... Live in the United States!!!

This picture here is a picture of a fire caused by the riots in Baltimore. Do you see how massive this fire is behind the couple of firemen?! All because people were not satisfied with how something went they took it on other people. We have way too much violence in this world. Even the United States needs improvement from violence. I believe that we can one day end massive violent acts. However, there will always be people out there wanting to kill other people. Now, I do not know why others would want to hurt other people, but for some reasons that how people try to cope with everything going on in their lives, but if the world works together as one, we could find a solution.
